Staff MEB Posted May 31, 2019 Staff Share Posted May 31, 2019 Hi J a n, If you were using the Beta all this time, then no, its major improvements/features were already announced quite some time ago, so users/beta testers who wish to test them could do so. But for most regular users, using the retail version (which is v1.6) all these features are new. Affinity Photo 1.7 wasn't officially launched yet and exists only as a beta version. This 1.7 cycle took more time than usual because we had to ensure fully integration with the upcoming Affinity Publisher (which will complete the suite's foundation). After Publisher's release you should see upgrades/new features more frequently since most complex work was already done.
