Gradiant issue with Boolean Operation

Recommended Posts

When the objects are moved, Designer kind of forgets to bring the gradients with them.

@Mark Ingram

Gradient also gets lost (misaligned) when shape has multiple fills…

  1. Draw a square.
  2. Give it a linear gradient fill.
  3. Add a second fill (make it something that you can see - perhaps a different gradient with Overlay blending).
  4. Copy the square.
  5. Draw another shape somewhere else on the canvas.
  6. Paste Style.

Result: the gradient of the lower fill is misaligned (locked to its original position).

Same bug (unsurprisingly) present in the Photo RC2 and Publisher Beta.

Also doesn’t behave as expected in Designer on iPad. Now reported here.
