Alfred
When I saw the topic title, I thought this was a thread about Adobe InDesign! Affinity Designer was launched as Mac-only app in October 2014, and Affinity Photo for Mac was launched in July of the following year. The Windows apps were both released in 2016: the retail version of Affinity Designer was launched in November after several months of beta testing, after which Affinity Photo went into public beta and was released to retail only a month later.
