sc360
I’m on iOS 11.1 on iPad Pro 10.5. Not sure if I should update to 11.2.6, b/c of all of the reported issues. There seem to be some pretty dramatic screw-ups in that update. But the App Store won’t let me purchase or download Affinity unless I’m on 11.2.6. Is there a way for me to download an older version for iPad that’ll work on 11.1? I’m really interested in this app! Thanks in advance! No Volume control issues noted. No weird character issues noted. Battery indicator disappeared..... well see for yourself (seeing is believing ). Seriously, many of these reported issues could be related to comments made during beta testing of prerelease versions. Just update, and enjoy the benefits.... sc360 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). I see the battery indicator here, too (and I believe it). There are a few places where I don't see it, but I think it's always been that way. sc360 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
sc360
Ok, @DM1 & @Alfred... just know that if my iPad suddenly does a backflip and turns into Megatron, I'm holding you both personally responsible.. LeoVitalis
Haven’t experienced any issues with 11.2.6 so far. However, there is a way to download an older version. In fact, I had to downgrade to 1.6.5 version myself because the magnifying glass feature screws up normal use of pen tool and doesn’t have a switch off yet. Here’s how I did it: https://medium.com/@dixitakansha15/how-to-download-older-version-of-latest-ios-app-from-appstore-91c28d2407d9

pixelcoder
I am on iOS 11.3 beta 5 still no problems, no Batterie issues, no nothing. It just works... (For future updates in case hehe, I know its weird but I like to running the betas, since it cleans up so much space each time it updates..that is really the only reason why I am on the beta, since I dont need iCloud Messages, and the new Battery health status is not for iPad, at least I dont have the menu like I have seen on iPhones.) cheers, Lutz Paul Mudditt and DM1 2 Quote | https://www.instagram.com/lutz.heidbrink | https://500px.com/lutzheidbrink | https://www.eyeem.com/u/pixelcoder | https://society6.com/pixelcoder iPad Pro 10.5 - iOS 11.4.1 - Affinity Photo 1.6.7 - Affinity Designer 1.6.0.
