32 Windows Xeon Cores Slower than 8 Core i7 Macbook Pro

I do not know what your purpose is but mine is to encourage Windows users to report more than the basic hardware info. I have made my reasons for that as clear as I can.

Same here, but that wasn't the reason of our back n forth.

That's when tets like the one with the Macros help, I guess.

They would be more helpful if users would report the additional info I mentioned besides the basic stuff. As it is, few reports include enough info to know if the latest drivers are installed, if any are non-standard versions obtained from other than manufacturer sources, if other software installed on the system might be affecting performance, etc.

On the Mac side, even though there are far fewer of these things to consider, they often are the cause of performance & other issues. When users submit detailed reports that include this kind of info, it usually makes it possible to see fairly quickly what is & is not a likely cause of the problem & how to eliminate it. When they do not, the process takes much longer.

I do not see how it could be any different on the Windows side.

And I agree with you.

Uhm... maybe a basic Script, either from the Dev Team or someone, could help? Not just for the detailed information that you mentioned, but maybe some kind of test.

Best regards!
