The Name Serif, just a fun fact

Sorry but I cannot stop thinking about the Game Deus Ex whenever I read your company's name. Was the name by any chance inspired by the biotech company (Serif Industries) that plays a important part in that game's story? Or is it just a weird coincidence?

Serif is named after the Type Face Serif you can read more about it here! Although I think the company in Deus Ex is called Sarif but we were here first so I choose to believe its actually a nod to us  :D

As that post makes clear, prior to around 1986, graphic designers had to work sans-Serif.  :lol:
