Richard S.
Rubyjim, Not quite sure what you mean, as there is only 1 toolbar, and your image is showing that your toolbar is displayed? If you mean that a specific tool is missing from your toolbar, then click on View > Customise Tools, and then add the missing tool icon(s). Alternatively, if you meant that a certain panel is missing, then click on View > Studio, then select the panel you wish to see. Also, the Tools panel changes depending upon which persona you are using, and judging from your screenshot, it looks as though you are in the "Develop Persona". Hope that helps. Alternatively, if you meant that a certain palette is missing, then click on View > Studio, then select the palette you wish to see. A palette is for colours. I think you mean panel. ;) I wonder if the OP is unaware that the toolbar changes when you switch from one Persona to another. Richard S.
The last time I called them a panel, I was told they were called palettes in AP. Now I'm calling them palettes, and you tell me they are called panels! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh OK try this: If a big rectangular thing with information is missing, click on View > Studio, then select the big rectangular thing with information, that you wish to see :) :) Rubyjim 1 Quote High-End Photographic Prints
Fixx
Maybe they are palettes in separated mode and panels in monolith mode? :D Rubyjim
R C-R
A palette is for colours. I think you mean panel. ;) In Affinity Help it is identified as "Tool Panel." However, according to several dictionaries like this one, one definition of "palette" is (in computer graphics) the range of colours or shapes available to the user. So, since in some Personas there are shapes available to the user on the tool panel, there is some justification for using the terms interchangeably.
