Ray C Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I have a document in Designer that has two pages. I can see page one in the document preview in File/Open/Recent dialog and in print preview, but I cannot view it in the editing window. I don't know how I created this mess, but I cannot access Page one for editing. HELP! File attached. Tweeter crossover.afdesign Quote
Ray C Posted March 12 Author Posted March 12 Ummm. This feature is conspicuously absent on my window! (And I'm asking the Forum because I could not find this in my Help.) Quote

There is a cure for this but I do not know what it is. I am sure someone, maybe @walt.farrell, can tell you what to do. PaulEC Posted March 12 Posted March 12 A long shot, try hitting Tab (which hides the UI), then hit it again (to bring it back). If that doesn't work try, Window Menu > Studio > Reset Studio. Ray C Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 Well, the Tab key doesn't do anything here, BUT... I clicked on menu View/Toggle UI twice and that fixed it!! Thanks all. (Wonder why the Tab key doesn't work?) Quote

I have no idea; "Tab" is the default shortcut to hide/show the UI, but as long as it's now OK, that's the main thing. (Wonder why the Tab key doesn't work?) If Tab is your shortcut for View > Toggle UI, then hitting it once (or possibly twice) should have worked. It is likely that at some point in the past you hit Tab (or your shortcut for that menu action) by accident, and didn't realize why things had disappeared, and so you manually restored everything you could by using the View menu. Unfortunately, that doesn't restore the Status Bar as it lacks a specific View menu entry. I think there's at least one bug or improvement item logged about this, and there's also an inconsistency between the Mac and Windows versions in this area, as I recall.
