Printing multiple copies of a document entered 49 actually printing 2401

If you put in any multiple it multiplys by itself

50 = 2500 copies

I tried to print 10 yesterday, but only got 4.

 

Different printer - Samsung CLX2160.

 

I'll try again in the next build.

Thanks for your feedback. Affinity can print multiple copies either by asking the printer driver to do it (more efficient) or printing multiple copies itself (if for instance the driver says it isn't capable of printing multiple copies) Sounds like both of these options have become engaged at the same time. We'll investigate!

 

I don't have an explanation for only 4 copies though, other than failure of the print job. In that case I would expect an error message.

Just had the same issue on a Canon MG5150, I set affinity designer to print 2 copies and it printed out 4, printing single copies works as expected

Doesn't matter whether you fill in the program amount or on the printer page still does the multiplier trick . Just glad I counted the pages first.
