Thanks to all. So far!. Latest version. Is this something you are printing and hanging out or just a one print and post on a bulletin board? If going to a print shop I would recommend slightly reducing and centering the info at the bottom and moving away from the edge of the sheet on bottom right. Flyers like this in low volume are run digitally. Registration can be an issue with digital presses, especially if they are not running the higher end digital printers. The print registration can shift which when cutting could mean you actually have important info that is tight to the page edge lost or partially removed. At minimum I would stay an 1/8th to a 1/4 away from the edge for all important information. Quote

I just happen to have lived in Scotland for most of my life. @pioneer is in southeast England. There are still a few little ‘alignment issues’ – “In AID of” and “VENUE” – but it’s looking good overall. I’m not sure if it’s just how the website is displaying the image but there seem to be a couple of ‘oddities’ with the green gradient at the bottom where there are two ‘lines’ across the page, one light (just above “VENUE” and “CONTACT”) and one dark (behind the date). pioneer 1 Quote
sansnom Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 Hi @pioneer, maybe you should better center the blocks at the bottom of your document in order to assert a certain mastery and especially a balance... 😉 PaulEC and pioneer 1 1 Quote
GarryP Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 I think it’s worth saying here that Constraints can sometimes be useful, once things have been nicely aligned, to keep them in alignment. See attached video where I have three Artistic Text layers inside a Rectangle and show, in the first part, how things work without Constraints and, in the second part, how it works with the Min Fit Constraint active for the child layers. It can be a bit of a ‘faff’ learning how Constraints work, and I keep forgetting how, but they can come in very handy from time to time when used properly. 2024-08-01 13-12-18.mp4 pioneer 1 Quote
