Rasterlijnen in Affinity Publisher/Gridlines in Affinity Publisher

Recommended Posts

In Affinity Publisher 2.0, there are the following gridlines:
(See the image herewith).

- the blue line = the margin
- the purple line = ?
- the black line = ?
- the red line = the bleed area

Can someone explain to me which of the two lines (the purple or the black line) is the page margin and what function the remaining line that remains has?

Also, are they adjustable in terms of color in Affinity Publisher? How do I do that?
Many thanks for your reply! do

What is that black line then?

The page / artboard / canvas. It can't be modified but may occur less obvious with a darker background colour (pasteboard, adjustable via app preferences), unless objects with fill 'overwrite' the pasteboard colour.

of what some of the lines indicate

Perhaps it would be useful to place a point in Help where all types and colors of lines (edges, snapping, dynamic guides, measure, ...) would be listed. Now the user needs to know exactly what they are looking for in order to learn what lines/colors the given function uses. So it's the exact opposite of what the user encounters - he sees something on the screen, doesn't know what it is, and has no way of finding out what it actually is. See also numerous questions - what is that purple/magenta line around my objects? Because he doesn't know that they are Snapping candidates, he can't look at their description in Help, so he doesn't find out - that they have a purple line.
