I do mostly fliers for the local clubs around near where I live for advertising on local FB and Nextdoor groups. Non profit, just for my amusement and to help out. Improvements or Criticism's as always are most welcome

The only changes I would suggest are minor. Scale back the amount of embossing on the white text. The text with the orange/yellow gradient is getting lost, especially the text on the right. Maybe on those, if you want to keep the gradient, a one or two point white outline. Maybe change the outline color on the photos to make them pop off the equally dark background color. Overall its a cool layout and I like the movement added with the diagonal text and the arrow/linear shapes on the bottom.

Me too. Just one little thing about the diagonal text: it’s very common these days for punctuation to be omitted from multi-line addresses, but if you want to include it the first two lines should end in commas, not full stops. (I don’t think ‘Free parking’ and ‘Open to all ages [etc]’ need full stops, either.)

Like the shot of the bowling ball, maybe get an action shot of the bowlers.

Thought I'd make a mockup of the suggestions I'd make, they say a picture paints a thousand words :D

For my taste (personally), the flyer's background looks pretty old fashion, very gloomy without much fresh colorings pep, in order to also attract the younger generation here. - I would probably give it an overall more modern eye catching look, so it also attracts younger people (aka: "... open to all ages...") and doesn't look that pensioner moderate.
