Erratic import in Styles Panel for Designer2 Beta 1709

My download for Designer2 Beta 1709  did not automatically import my Styles from Designer 2.  (Photo 1709 did.)  Today I have been experimenting with importing Styles and have experienced some very erratic behaviour.  Some Style categories import perfectly.  Some import partially.  Some provide names only.  One category shown below was blank the first time, but when imported a second time it was populated.  This may have been reported before.  Haven't found it.  I tried resetting Designer with CTRL startup.  It made no difference.

Further to this topic, today when I opened Designer 2 Beta 1709, the Styles categories which were empty yesterday were populated with images as well as names.  The glitch appears to be during the importing process.  We shouldn't have to shut down the app, should we?

If you have a lot of content, it will take a bit to generate all the thumbnails. Thumbnails are generated after the import is successful, and not during the import process.
