Rudantu Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 I expect blank/empty fills to appear with a red line through them, however in swatches panel they simply are gray (or whatever the UI panel color is) Circled swatches are indeed blank ones. I use them to separate my swatches. MacOS Latest | M1 Max Mac Studio | Affinity Designer loukash 1 Quote →MacOS (Latest), M1 Max Mac Studio, Designer

Rudantu Posted February 16, 2023 Author Posted February 16, 2023 Indeed Mac, apologies. Have added that info. Michail 1 Quote →MacOS (Latest), M1 Max Mac Studio, Designer

Are you using the "empty" (line through the circle) or are you using 0% opacity. I can recreate the problem you have but only if I use 0% opacity. If I use the "empty" then I get a line through the swatch. Mac OS 11.7 Here is the green with 0% opacity. Oof - didn't realize that was possible - thanks for pointing that out! My bad. Quote →MacOS (Latest), M1 Max Mac Studio, Designer
Staff Sean P Posted February 22, 2023 Staff Posted February 22, 2023 Hi Rudantu, The issue here is you're using Apple's System Palettes (identified by the Monitor icon), and from what I can tell they don't allow for a 'No Fill' swatch, I certainly cannot do it within Pages either. So instead you just get a neutral grey added. However if you use one of our palette types such as the Document Palette (page with folded corner icon) or Application Palette (Box with a cog icon) types rather than Apple's System Palette it is possible to add a 'No Fill' swatch. So unfortunately I don't think this is possible to 'fix'. loukash 1 Quote

I'm so used to look out for the symbol.
