laurent32
Anyway, activating that unicode hex keyboard is a good option for those happy ones who use qwerty keyboards… Pretty less useful for those that use azerty keyboards… I think that it might interest plenty of people out there… so it is good to talk about it. Concerning your specific search (without using that keyboard), I already did a search without luck… @MikeTO might know it ? Type U+ and the hex for the actual glyph, select from U through to the end of the hex and use Control + U to Toggle Unicode. Here is a bullet (typed using Option + Shift + 8, an asterisk) and there is the Unicode for it. R C-R
Thanks, @Old Bruce & @walt.farrell for the help with this! At least on my Mac it seems to be an Affinity Publisher only feature but it does work as you have suggested in that app. Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.

R C-R
@v_kyr, searching with Google is fine if you already have a good idea of a search term that will show you the results you want but not so fine if you do not, like if you are looking for something that works in all 3 Affinity apps.... laurent32
Yes, apple's ecosystem apps. The more specific you are in your search terms to the search engine and making usage of additionally common add and exclude etc. terms there, it should give you in response more accurate and precise results. - Same as with user Q's here in the forum, the more and better those are formulated, incl. tags of app and OS used ... etc, the better some other user (volunteer) can understand what is meant or asked for/after at all. Press Return once to select the search result and a second type to insert it into the app. This works with Affinity, too.
