I would like to read the manuals for these apps. All I can find is online help done up in an outline combined with hidden text on each entry. It's like a series of Russian dolls that I have to click, and click, and click, to drill down into the details of each topic, instead of simply reading and turning pages (or scrolling).

If there are downloadable, flat, manuals, please let me know where they are. If there aren't, you must have the information somewhere in structured form, hopefully in a system that could produce a continuous document. I would greatly appreciate having access to the documentation in such form, thanks.

Hi nikgervae,

The help file is a reference tool, this makes it far more structured than a flat document, and as such searching is or drilling down through categories is the most efficient way to find the information you are looking for. It is not designed as a document to be read from start to finish.

We update the help file regularly, and to keep a "flat" document up to date makes no sense.

We do however produce learning content in the form of videos, which is far more suitable for beginners to the software.

I don't find videos suitable for learning. I find reading a manual suitable.

I've had enough frustration already with the app blatantly violating basic UI conventions of macos, though, that I've asked for a refund. Maybe if it becomes a better platform citizen I'll give it another try.

No longer available through Serif's store. You may be able to locate one on Amazon, but be prepared for price gouging. Designer's workbook can be had for 3x the MSRP. 😵

Apparently they sold out, and the next one will be for version 2?

That is what I would make of Serif not printing any more workbooks.
