I Lost the Perspective Window Apply?!

Recommended Posts

Without knowing how or why, the Perspective Warp window has disappeared and I  can't save the modifications by hitting return. I can modify the picture by dragging the corners, but can't apply them.    I quit the program and restarted but still it is not reappearing.

Any ideas?  I don't see anything in the menu to bring it forward.

If you talking about using the AP Mesh Warp Tool the Apply button is on the context toolbar. If the context toolbar is hidden, unhide it by ticking the "Show Context Toolbar" item on the View. menu.

Hi @jefferis,

Is it possible that you have selected the Mesh Warp tool from the tools menu instead of the Perspective tool? By default the Perspective and Mesh Warp are kept under the same fly-out from the toolbar. The Mesh Warp tool doesn't have an additional window (Options on context toolbar as R C-R mentioned) whilst the Perspective tool does.

I have a similar issue; the Perspective/Mesh tool is not available in the toolbar (neither as an selection/option under customized tools). Any idea where I may find it?

(Unfortunately Affinity help is not directing you to where the different tools are located...)

What app are you using? (These tools are only available in APhoto.)

Thanks.    Without knowing it,  I had selected the Warp tool.  Maybe by a keystroke.   I never use the warp tool, as usually I am correcting trapezoidal distortions in photos.

If it helps, you can customise the Tools, so that the Mesh Warp and Perspective tools have separate buttons, rather than sharing a flyout.
