Cutting a portion of a circle at an angle

I absolutely love this but do not have the skillset (yet!) to recreate. I'd love the needle to be a little thinner and the swoosh on the end stop sooner to give the K some breathing room!  Do I dare ask for a second attempt?  I can send you a beer!

Try this...

Sew this is it eh! edit.afdesign

As a tip, you can use the Contour tool (O) to adjust the width of the curved needle, this has the secondary benefit of adjusting the position of the needle point.

I just made a curve, created a compound and subtracted that curve.

I forgot to bake the appearance when using the contour tool.
