Sullyman
Was hoping to find out how to change the angle of a halftone in an already established macro. I see that the Screen Angle's input is in "rad" what I would assume is radius/radial. It's max setting is from 0 to 6.283. Would anyone be able to illuminate the layman on what the heck I'm looking at? R C-R
I think in this context "rad" the abbreviation for is radians. David in Яuislip
It is indeed radians as R C-R says above; however if you are more comfortable with degrees then you can enter those instead Sullyman 1 Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/
Sullyman
Does anyone have an idea why we can't change the "Screen" option (Monochrome, Color, Line, Circular) or the "Dot" option (Cosine, Round)? In order for the user to be able to change the parameters for an adjustment or filter, the Macro Creator must enable that ability when the macro was recorded. In the screenshot the arrows are pointing out the gear icon, which opens the parameters dialog, and the eye icon. Clicking the eye icon makes it where the user can change the parameters for those the creator chose to allow. To find this I had to go back to Affinity Photo tutorials from version 1.5, which are referred to as Legacy now. They're buried in the Affinity Photo for Desktop tutorials forum. Here's the link to that thread. Legacy--Affinity Photo for Desktop Tutorials Is this what you're asking? EDIT: I've found that you must use the Live Filter-Halftone for the user to access the parameters. Thanks for the reply, although that wasn't what I was looking for, you have helped solve another issue I was having! What I would like to be able to do is change the shape of the halftone (line, circular, cosine, etc...) but the options available in your screen shot are all we have access to change (after the macro is created). GCR and UCR are not the settings I need unfortunately. Quote My portfolio | Youtube Channel: Pixel Moshpit | Email: john@johndrawsfor.me
Ron P.
Your Welcome Affinity's macro has a long way to go, it's very limited in what it can do. You'll need to make each of the different 'shapes' a separate macro.
