Subclavius Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 I haven't (yet) found a request for this one or any help on how to do it, so I would like to submit a request for this new feature. Please would you add a menu under "Select same" for the same named (or coloured) objects only within the current artboard. With multiple artboards of similar content it's a real nuisance to constantly have to rename objects just to that artboard (and the choice of colours is limited too) so that only objects on the particular artboard are selected. Subclavius Posted December 3, 2021 Author Posted December 3, 2021 @Pšenda Thanks, I missed that post in my search. I'd like to leave this post as a request for the feature. Maybe one of the mods might care to comment? Quote

CLC Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Many people requested this (and more) back in September 2020, when @MattP asked users to post optional extra requests for the feature that was just in beta back then. No response, I guess the requests weren't interesting enough 😉 Quote Why relying on your users to report errors is the dumbest thing you’ll ever do
seabirdr Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 This was a feature request that was repeated over and over again, with no response from the development team. I don't think it's a waste of resources to post more. Quote

Creating additional / duplicate posts is against the rules of the forum (they are listed in the header of each thread group - first point). The rules then recommend, "add" them with your opinion and other beneficial details (so it will not be a waste of resources).
