I haven't (yet) found a request for this one or any help on how to do it, so I would like to submit a request for this new feature.

Please would you add a menu under "Select same" for the same named (or coloured) objects only within the current artboard.  With multiple artboards of similar content it's a real nuisance to constantly have to rename objects just to that artboard (and the choice of colours is limited too) so that only objects on the particular artboard are selected.

I missed that post in my search

Just for information, I searched for it using a Google search, which usually gives me more relevant results

https://www.google.com/search?q="Select+same"+objects+within+Artboard+site:forum.affinity.serif.com

I used your Topic title in the query, so a possible modification of the query could bring more results.

This was a feature request that was repeated over and over again, with no response from the development team. I don't think it's a waste of resources to post more.

As you probably know (this has been said many times here on the forum), Serif does not respond to function requests in principle.

Creating additional / duplicate posts is against the rules of the forum (they are listed in the header of each thread group - first point). The rules then recommend, "add" them with your opinion and other beneficial details (so it will not be a waste of resources).
