It would be great if AD had a Preference slider for UI saturation, that way we could desaturate the colorful UI icons... Sometimes less is more ;)

Yes! And make the icon / function that is active stand out more.

For me it makes the whole interface easier on the eyes, and it tells me this is the function you're using, and these are it's settings / buttons.

Yes boudewijnanser, exactly, save the coloured icon for the currently selected tool! I would also love to see a mini fill/stroke color selector included in the Docked tool palette, just like it is in the Separated mode...

Thanks Matt, that's cool, I tried it and it works! But then I'm "wasting" all those empty pixels under the two columns, lol...  Wait I just realized I can undock JUST the 2 column palette, and then I can see my image below without blocking the rest of the space under the tool palette. That's what I'll do for now, keep the 2 column tool palette undocked and the rest of the UI docked. Best of both worlds!

We creatives are a picky bunch, huh? LOLOL! Cheers guys!

I like the Genie effect that Apple uses on their Applications dock.

Larger tool icons would be a good option. The rollover Genie effect would be the best.

I'm closing in on my senior years. Visibility is a big deal for me.
