Shortcut for sizing vector brush

I have had AD for about two weeks, and I love the program and the forums. 

 

I may have overlooked this, but I cannot find a keyboard shortcut for adjusting the width of the stroke when using the vector brush tool. I want to program this into my Wacom controls.

The shortcuts for adjusting Brush size are [ to reduce size and ] to increase size. I hope this helps :)

Any idea how It's been used on a german keyboard/system? The brackets are "alt + 5" = [ and "alt + 6" = ] but that only changes in AD/AP only the layer opacity :(

I'm on a Swedish keyboard and the keys [ ] is hard to use. I always (in both AFD and AFP) use alt+ctrl and then drag with the mouse (mouse button down) to adjust the brush size. Very handy!

 

AFD: drag horizontally for size.

AFP: drag horizontally for size - drag vertically for hardness

Hi Markus,

The latest Betas also allow you to choose a custom shortcut for those functions. This will be available in the next Mac App Store update.

AND/OR you can install the english keyboard and switch over to that when your working with Affinity.

] [ Use the two keys next to the P.  System preferences>keyboard.. the tab on the right> tick the pluss sign and choose british or US.

 

You get a flag on the top toolbar. Just click that when you want to change.
