Designer1
If you apply a Pantone color with the Colour Picker Tool to another object, this color will not be displayed as Pantone. This makes working more difficult. So my suggestion is that the Pantone colors are always displayed after the transfer to a shape or line. elmonopascual
Old Bruce
Just my opinion here but I think you would be best served by using Global Colours in a Document Palette if you need particular Pantone colours in your work. fde101 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear. Yes, because "Colour Picker Tool" works with Color, not its name. When capturing a color (its color components), it would be necessary to search whether these colors are not defined and named in the Swatch panel (which can be repeated - which of the many names would it assign the color?). This works wonderfully with CorelDraw. For me it is important that Pantone is transferred and displayed correctly by this tool.

In Corel Draw, when you pick a color with the color picker tool, it picks the color and also whether is a RGB, CMYK, PANTONE color, etc.
