jimfastcar
I received an email from Affinity Revolution with a link to a short tutorial about image sharpening. The presenter was discussing AI Image Enlarger. https://imglarger.com, and the results do look impressive. I remember also seeing many ads for Topaz which I did not pursue but think is a program as opposed to a web service. I did not pursue the latter as after a quick search it sounded like some compatibility issues with Affinity. I attempted a quick trial with imlarger but the site restricted me to 5MB file size. First of all, and some may find this ridiculous, I do not know how to shrink my existing files to that size; so I have sent their Support an email to ask if that is a limitation with a paid subscription - I wonder why I would want to shrink my images that much, it has to affect quality no ? My other question is about these types of programs generally - do they work, and if so, which is the best in the opinion of the learned ? Thanks

jimfastcar
My main interest is Sharpening. Aside from image size question, do these programs work well, Imlarger seems to be good per You Tube Is Topaz better, and will it work with Affinity iPad and Mac ? Xzenor
While it's a hassle to copy stuff to and from your phone, don't rule out Remini. It's a mobile app only (why?!?!?!) And its results are amazing if it manages to detect everything correctly. I use imglarger sometimes if I need to enlarge something without too much decay in quality. It's not perfect but it gets the job done. I never heard of Topaz to be honest so I'm gonna follow this thread for future comments Quote Windows 10 Pro Intel Core i7-4770 3.40Ghz 16 GB RAM Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 Samsung EVO 850 SSD
Fixx
Topaz Sharpen AI and Gigapixel AI are very good apps but even they cannot transform image to look like 11 hours ago, jimfastcar said:

Even their biggest pack "Enterprise" isn't offering more (only more images/month and "prioritised" batch processing). Not very convincing for a paid service. I’d expect much more for that kind of money.
