lenogre
Values for gradient are wrong. No specific blend mode, no different opacity, no, no and no. AD 1.9.0.22 wrong gradient.afdesign Jowday
Old Bruce
If I adjust the values in the gradient popup then the colours will be corrected, this makes me want to know if the object was created in the beta or if it is an older file. Note how the colour appears to be the same pale colour no matter which stop I choose until I change the value. lenogre
I don't know which release I've used but i's an old release for sure. It's in my Contents browser. I use AD since alpha release… We can adjust the gradient in the pop-up, you're right.
Staff MattP Posted January 29, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 29, 2021 Hi guys, just as an update, there's nothing wrong with that colour! But I do agree it's a bit confusing as to why you're seeing what you're seeing! You've got a colour, which is correctly indicated in the colour panel, but what you've not got shown there is that you've chosen a '30% tint' of that colour (in the colour studio, select the hamburger menu at the top right and choose 'Tint' to show the control). When you change the colour to a new one, even the same value, it'll pop back to being the 100% tint version, hence the sudden change back to what you expected to see... I think we could do with showing it's a tint in the main colour chooser so that it makes this more obvious! It's also confusing because the control node is displaying the base color, not the selected tint. Staff MattP Posted January 29, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 29, 2021 Yes, I agree... I didn't spot this as I don't use the flyout myself, I just use the on-document UI and the colour panel... Jowday and walt.farrell 1

lenogre
Panel color enhancement would be great for my nerves. A % of tint must be reserved for direct color. Thanks
