TIL in Publisher

I wonder if I can check TIL (Total Ink Limit) in publication in Publisher?

The Affinity range does not have this functionality yet, but often the PDF interpreter can be used to do this too before print.

Acrobat pro 9 (cs5) does the job but is discontinued (my choice)  - other choices - Callas PDF toolbox (£500)  - or go cc subscription to Acrobat - not sure if CorelDraw does this?

You can still get a boxed edition of Acrobat Pro 2017 as a one-time-buy from amazon and eBay -- It's not super-current, but works perfectly fine for everything regarding printed matters and that's, at least for me, a perfect addition to the Affinity trio.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that ... when I bought my 2017 last year, I saw the "2020", but the small print said "1 year" in brackets, so I assumed It was a subscription. Gonna go scouting to see if I find a perpetual license, now I know it exists. Thanks for the info, Joachim.

Come on Affinity here is some suggestions to improve printing options in the future! #TotalInkAffinitybySerif

makes sense to add feature to affinity photo and add it to the channels palette as in image attached.

clickable option with option to see total ink areas of the image based on limit in example (240).

I work on newspapers designs and already appreciate the Studio link feature, its easy to activate the photo persona select channels palette, turn off black channel and easily see what copy text is rich black and 100% black.

Only thing that would help me stop paying for adobe acrobat pro is the Total ink Area feature. I bet if you guys add this feature lots of other designers will consider getting Studio pack!
