prophet
I see this behavior too. Mostly between the opening and closing of dialog boxes: Open, Save, Place, etc. Chris B and Puck 1

Staff MEB Posted August 11, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 11, 2020 Hi @prophet, Are you running macOS Mojave or any other version of the macOS? Can you record a small clip of this happening with the Open, Save or Place dialogs please (one of them) in full screen? Thanks. Can't replicate on the work machine running Mojave, though I do get the bounce when zooming as seen in @clemens.holleis's video. I'll have a look this evening on the Catalina home machine. Dazmondo77
I'm getting it on Mojave - I first noticed it locking in the down position when a Designer document was using most of my system memory and went into beachball, so thought it was a one off, but I've just had a look in Pub, and as above, when zooming in and out it has the bug and sometimes locks in the lower position - no big deal Screen_Recording_2020-08-11_at_19_20_25.mov Puck 1 Quote Mac Pro Cheese-grater (Early 2009) 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Ram, Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5, Ugee 19" Graphics Tablet Monitor Triple boot via OCLP 1.2.1 - Mac OS Monterey 12.7.1, Sonoma 14.1.1 and Mojave 10.14.6 Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo 1.10.5 - 2.2.1 www.bingercreative.co.uk
Staff MEB Posted August 12, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 12, 2020 Hi Dazmondo77, Thanks for your feedback. Yes, on Mojave zooming in/out or double-clicking with the View Tool on canvas (to zoom to fit) does make the "traffic lights" jump. However i've not seen this happening with the Close, Save or Place dialogs. @prophet, Thanks. As far as i'm aware this issue only affects Mojave. I will be a bit surprised if you can replicate it in Catalina but let me know if it does happen there. I may have missed something. Hi MEB, this bug is still present in the beta version of Affinity Photo 1.9.0.196 (I can't say if it is still present in the beta version of Designer because I don't test this beta). But I didn't want to open a new thread because of this. Staff MEB Posted September 18, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 18, 2020 Hi Puck, Yes, this wasn't fixed yet for this (1.9.x) build. Currently all Affinity Beta apps are affected (on macOS Mojave only). I've bumped the report. Staff MEB Posted January 25, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 25, 2021 @Puck. I'm sorry this is taking so long. Since its affecting just one OS version and doesn't interfere with the daily workflow that much it has a lower priority than others. Nonetheless i keep bumping and updating the report (I'm also on macOS Mojave on my main system so you are not alone here!). Thanks for your patience.
