Selecting Locked Objects

I am actually able to select and delete locked objects.

Does this only happen when making a marquee selection? Does single clicking on the objects to select them still refuses to select them? We're aware of this when making a marquee selection that is with development to be fixed.

Yes, this happen when making a marquee selection only. Same trouble with version 1.8.2

Same also happens with Windows version (1.8.2.620). When I lock something, I want it locked! 😐

Hi Jonopen,
This is a bug (in v1.8) that's already with the dev team. You shouldn't be able to select locked objects (with a marquee or directly clicking on the object) from the canvas, only through the Layers panel.

I thought I could temporally get around things by turning off the tools option, 'select object when intersects with selection marquee' but it is still possible to select (if you try really hard!). The same is true when putting a locked object inside a locked layer.

NOPE. This is still Problem on artboards! + there is new bug making me cry. SHIFT work weird, when you select multiple object and try unselect couple of them holding shift everything is going to unselect when you click by holding shift. This make me crazy.

The locked object issue is still being looked at. Regarding the shift behaviour, have you tried the latest Designer Customer Beta 1.8.3? It should be fixed there.

No, I don't think I'm so brave to take risks with Beta while working for clients on a contract. I will wait for the update. Calmly.

And thank you for correcting the icons on the no-retina screens.
