A user on Twitter reporting Importing of InDesign files in Beta working well and achieved by simply selecting Open and then selecting an .indd file. I am unable to import as all .indd files are greyed out in the Open finder on Mac. I am using latest version of Beta. Has anyone else had this issue and, more importantly, how was it resolved!?

Thank you, got excited when a user was complimenting Affinity on being able to import InDesign files! Guess will have to keep that Adobe subscription going for a little longer.

*.indd files don’t work and won’t work in the future.

You have to export your InDesign files using the IDML format.

Hmmm. When I try to open an IDML file in Publisher (Mac) it's greyed out.

Idml import is a feature of the 1.8 beta version.
