  1. Good day, everyone! Just wanted to share my work made from Affinity Designer which is a combined ideas from the web and for the love of the calmness of felines. I wanted to print this in shirts since we are planning to have our own tshirt brand. Need your opinion to what file type is appropriate to keep its resolution. Would png be sufficient? Looking forward for your response to share your expertise. Thanks and God bless!
  2. Hi all, This is one of my latest projects for the Scooterola brand. If you can't see the video here, you can get it on http://scooterola.com/index.php/2019/02/24/the-illuminati-stole-my-scooter/ It's hand drawn, vectorised and worked up in AD. I made a little 4 minute film of the process below: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lP0KV1V15jw" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Nutter

A bit quiet work wise so I decided to re-create some artwork I originally did for Ginger Wildheart in an app called Mischief which was a great vector based art prog that seems to have now been abandoned (shame as it was great to sketch in) thought I'd see how well I could illustrate it in Designer as vector and it's turned out pretty well although I cheated and added a very simple pixel layer with just a few brush strokes using some of the Fantastic Frankentoon brushes
  6. YAY! Client just approved these today

    DBD green Immortals T-shirt

Done quite a few t-shirt designs for Dirt Box Disco - the artwork featured ended up a little different - but I prefer this one - set up 2 colours Pantone 802 green and Opaque white printed onto black t-shirt
  8. Hi, i would like to create a t-shirt mock-up (template where you can put logos on top and change color of shirt). Example: Ass you can see the guy didn't took a photo of each coloured shirt, he just made one photo and coloured the shirt afterwards with software. My questions: 1) So i take a photo of a shirt - which colour is the best for the template? White? 2) How do i colour the shirt? 3) How do i put the existing shadows on top of the coloured shirt? Many thanks!
  9. Hello, Anyone here knows how to make an all over tshirt? I know at psd but I switched to affinity photo and want to learn how? Any advice.. Thank you
  10. Hi, Is there a quick way to add a text or image to (a model wearing clothing that has wrinkles) and make it look real? Thanks in advance! Salah

Done a t-shirt design for a client just white on a black shirt - just decided to have a mess around adding colour using the Frankentoon brushes - They're mainly the Frankentoon nomad brushes which I purchased as soon as I had a quick play around with the brushes that came with the Designer 1.6 free promo

    AD T-Shirt design

Hello everyone! First post in the forums, so here's a little introduction/explanation first: I've been looking for a good alternative to Illustrator (which I use in my daily job) for my freelance work and came across Affinity Designer. I lurked through the forums a bit, saw the introductory video about a hundred times and eventually when Illustrator abolished my last nerve and obliterated any pieces of patience I had left, I knew - Affinity Designer will be the software I use! I thought it would be a cool idea to try and record my first project with the program and share it with the community. It's nothing special, mostly shapes and gradients, but I had to start somewhere, so here goes: A video of the process: https://youtu.be/QlpYsvdkpEY The photo of the t-shirt guy is from unsplash.com. Thanks for having a look!
  14. Hi I'm just starting out with AD, and can't find the answer to this... I'm creating designs in a vector iApp, then exporting to AD for tweaking. I export from the iApp as .svg 4096 x 4096 (there isn't a direct way to alter the size), and I know I must export from AD as .png/transparent background/RGB/300dpi, but the question is what do I set my document as in AD? I'm trying 6" x 6"/CMYK/300dpi - does that seem correct? Thanks.
  15. So here is my latest AD creation. And I must say that I really like it :) Created as a t-shirt design, you can check out how it works out as a t-shirt here: https://www.facebook.com/rimaucorporation/photos/pcb.1158414130905680/1158412160905877/?type=3&theater or here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/749895-socks-based-on-a-true-story I must admit it took a bit more time that expected to finish, I was beginning with much more symbolic face expressions idea, but wasn't happy with the outcome.
  16. Hi all, So this is my second project using Affinity Designer. I come from Inkscape and Illustrator environments and so far loving the speeeeed the AD offers. This one was focused on getting familiar with paths. My first AD project was a far more simpler design, you can find the link in the description under T-shirts if anyone's intrested. Btw, the desing is competing in a submissions contest on threadless.com, so if you happen to like it I would be really greatfull for some votes :) Just click the image or the link to follow. Thx.

    AD T-Shirt Design

Hi Affinity Forum, I would like to share my latest work with you. There´s a T-Shirt Design Competition for the Rock Band “Cheap Trick“, I made this one. Hoppe you like it. Rick
  18. Hey all, I run an annual collaborative writing event, and used Designer to produce all of the brand materials associated with the event. The designs themselves are all pretty simple / minimal (as you'll see below), but I was impressed with what an intuitive and easy to use environment Designer was to play around with some ideas and refine them from within the program. Materials produced include the logo (below) which was then reused for things like the forum badge shown in my signature. I also produced a design for use on t-shirts and mugs... Like I said, all pretty minimal design but (hopefully you'll agree) good for the purpose and not too in-your-face or distracting.
  19. Hi AD´s, this is my first T-Shirt Design i did in AD. What do you think? Cheers Sebastian

    Marine Theme

Hey, Here's some recent work for a sea-themed client. My first fully made in Affinity. A real pleasure, intuitive and fluid, even on my 2008 MacBook. Not going back for sure. :)
