  1. Thx for the comments guys. Really glad that I'm not the only one who likes it :) More "unpaired socks" stories might be happening, the subject is pretty huuuge ;) it all depends on the idea for the composition, if one pops-up, than it will simply need to be done.
  2. So here is my latest AD creation. And I must say that I really like it :) Created as a t-shirt design, you can check out how it works out as a t-shirt here: https://www.facebook.com/rimaucorporation/photos/pcb.1158414130905680/1158412160905877/?type=3&theater or here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/749895-socks-based-on-a-true-story I must admit it took a bit more time that expected to finish, I was beginning with much more symbolic face expressions idea, but wasn't happy with the outcome.
  3. Thx for the tip, man. One of the curves required some tweaking, but in general that is exactly what I was looking for :)
  4. Hi WREN I got the brushes yesterady and I'm having a question. How do I use the brushes on a closed curve without the gap? Here's the screenshot with the settings, I did try to work with the offset but i does not really help: http://i.imgur.com/nnYlTaq.png Any ideas?
  5. Regarding the mobile app, since you are expoanding into Windows on desktop do you even consider moving forward with the mobile app for Android as well?
  6. If I could give any advice, I would say: talk to the game designer/developer on the CG technicalities. Having some understanding on how they will use your work might actually be a nice source of inspiration. Not mentioning making their lifes easier once you do the handoff :)
  7. What game engine are you working with? Is it going to be a 2D world or are you going to push the style into 3D?
  8. Looks cool. Any more info about the game itself? Are you going to aim for the same style regarding the noise and shading in the game itself?
  9. Hi all, So this is my second project using Affinity Designer. I come from Inkscape and Illustrator environments and so far loving the speeeeed the AD offers. This one was focused on getting familiar with paths. My first AD project was a far more simpler design, you can find the link in the description under T-shirts if anyone's intrested. Btw, the desing is competing in a submissions contest on threadless.com, so if you happen to like it I would be really greatfull for some votes :) Just click the image or the link to follow. Thx.
  10. Hi, I'm currently testing out the Windows Beta coming from Inkscape (and Illustrator at the office) and what I'm missing a bit are the handlers for sharp control points. Inkscape does it brilliantly and it really makes it much easier to control a curve. Would love to see this kind of feature in AD. That's how it looks like in action: http://i.imgur.com/5iIRXG8.png
