  1. As I said it's almost the same, but the Illustrator method is more visual, so one has not to remember what style was used. Hm, I think I would love to have this kind of pickupability (if this is a word) for selecting brushes which I've used but can't remember...
  2. Hi Paul Mc, in the upcoming Version 1.9 is a data-merge feature. You can already try it out in the 1.9-beta.
  3. Hi Dominique, turn on snapping (snap to grid), make the grid visible and adjust it to your needs, then select each number and cut and paste them to individual layers.
  4. Hi GarryP, the eyedropper in illustrator picks up the "style" from an object A and apply it immediatly to a selected object(s). Very handy, but to me "the same" as pasting a style with Ctrl + Shift + V.
  5. Hi JeanMichel, select the textbox with the style you want to copy, then edit/copy(cmd+C) it and edit/paste style (cmd+shift+V).
  6. Hi danielkhatton, 1. create the donaut-shape 2. create the rectangle and place them 3. select all the retangles and go to Layers/Geometry/add, this should create a Curve-layer with all the rectangles in it 4. select the curves and the donut and go to Layers/Geometry/subtract 5. Viola or watch the video of v_kyr who has been a little faster.
  7. As far as I know you can't unpin more than one Picframe at a time. But you can set the wrapping and it's options for all pictures/frames at once if you select them first and then go to the wrapping-options.
  8. Hi ClioStark, I don't know anything about Genius Tabs, but I'am using a wacom Intuos and it's working fine. Have you updated your tablet drivers to the actual version? Have you tried the options for tablet input in the preferences? If you are on windows, have you tried to enable/disable wintab in the preferences? These are the things that I would try first but maybe someone else can give more advice.
  9. I feel I'am a little outdated lol due to fact that I'm using Bündel (but also Paket) in my conversations. But I try to be open minded so I can agree with you. And i also agree with klauspstein suggestion to use only "herunterladen".
  10. But you can say" bundle" for german "Bündel", so to me there is nothing "wrong" here. And I'am german, it's only my name that is english. 🙂
  11. This file also work on win 10 home. I also think there must be a problem with win 7....?
  12. Hi zBernie, to me this composit don't look too unnatural. Maybe the blue spill on the bottom of the shark should be more on the greenish side like the background benath. The blacks and the dark areas of the shark could be more darker to match the dark values of the background. And maybe the edges of the shark could have some blur to glue more to the BG. But all of this is only my opinion/taste and the picture that you've posted is very tiny to see what could be done further.
  13. Also the upcoming version (1.9) of Affinity Photo will have new pattern-functions.
  14. Ah ok, no you don't need to create 50 styles (of grey, sorry I can't restist). You can alter the numbering individual in the paragraph-tab (View/studio/paragraph) without creating a style.
  15. You can alter the mask (of the group) afterwards if you like, and the pixel-layer and the d+b-layer stay together, nondestructed.
  16. Hello Brasileric, there is no option in the prefs to set the zoom to 100%.
  17. Hi OllyD, why not putting the pixel layer and the 50%-Gray-layer above together in a group and the using the group-mask for both of them?
  18. @ChrisElizabeth6, watch the video to see the difference between masking and clipping.
  19. Hello Paddy_20, if you put a mask layer on top of your layers then everything beneath will be masked. Hallo Paddy_20 wenn du eine Masken-Ebene als oberste Ebene anlegst wirkt diese auf alle darunterliegenden Ebenen.
