    There seems to be an underlying font issue, but we don't know exactly what it is just yet.

    @initDo you happen to have a version of that doc before you made the change? I think the page orientation might be a red herring.

    Because you cannot save directly back to it. It would be impractical. But everything else (save as, export, etc) is enabled.

    Thanks. Issue logged. It seems to be the PDFs inside it that makes it crash. Weird enough, Publisher is not affected.

    Can you try creating a new user profile on your mac and see if that's fine? I wonder if it's a permission error of some sort.

    That's the Automatic Retina rendering(in Prefs > Performance) switching between fast(when you move stuff around) and slow(when you let it go). It's by design, and not a bug.
