The answer would be dependant upon what sort of grid you want to create.

If you just want a standard ‘X by Y’ grid of layers of the same size and shape then you can use the Quick Grid functionality.

If that’s not what you want then a visual example would help us to understand what you want.

(I know you gave the title as “Masonry grid” but we might not have the same idea as you as to what that means or what your specific requirements are – e.g. relative sizes, gaps, etc.)

Not quite what I'm after. This is a masonry grid/layout. I guess the term is more used in web design. However, the video gave me a new idea. 😃 But I'm still curious if it's possible to generate masonry or if it has to be done by hand =D

Possibly you have edited text on the left document pages. On document pages edited master layer text doesn't react any more on master page style change, on purpose.

If you use saved text styles then a change is easy to do via the Text Style panel. No need to do a change on a master page.

Not sure I follow on the first one. How can I get it to react to the master again?

there is the 'Official' video from Affinity

    https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/designer/desktop/video/301628203/

it is on their Learning page for Designer, https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/designer/desktop/ worth a look in my opinion. Check out the export persona tutorials.

Cheers! I watched those when the software was new, didn't recall where to find them 😅 Thanks for the help!

  4. Hi!

I'm trying out Artboards (In Designer) at the moment and currently I got 10 similar artboard.
Is it possible to link objects to mimic each other? Lets say I've made a rectangle to act as a background in each of the artboards,
and I want to change the background of all of them, without having to select each rectangle individually. Is this possible?

Bonus question: Is it possible to export all artboards at once as individual files? Instead of doing 10 exports selecting each artboard at the export window.

Indeed, not only do you get just 4 years of security updates from Google itself for any particular version of Android, the problem is compounded by individual Android phone and tablet manufacturers insisting on customised (others might use the term bastardised) versions of Android and these manufacturers often support their products for even less time with updates than does Google.

Therefore, there is an almighty hot mess of multiple Android versions and customisations around that can create an even more difficult situation for app developers, so much so that I think that Android versions of Serif Affinity products are even less likely to happen than Linux versions which itself is very slim to zero.

Under those circumstances, the best thing to do is look for equivalent Google Play apps to the Serif Affinity iOS apps that have good ratings and try them out.

Or as I mentioned above, only support Samsung devices (for example), as Adobe is doing.

There are many of us who work on Android devices that would gladly buy a license for Affinity products on the Play store.
I personally can't stand apple products.
There are also many apps that are designed for specific android tablets/phones and are not supported on others.
The app could be supported on like the higher end Samsung tablets and none of the knockoff or cheap ones that wouldn't run an app like a vector or photo program anyways.
Then, just like the iPad there is only a need to support a few tablets.
    It's pretty simple.
I'm not a full time graphic artist but I do quite a bit of it. It would be nice to have a really good option when I have free time at work, I could work on some stuff on my tablet.

Right now I use Krita. It's ok, but not Affinity.

I won't buy or support Apple stuff for a couple of reasons, but it sucks that only iPad has the app right now.

I won't buy Apple because it does not work with my work (The other, non-creative work).
I don't have a tablet, but I'd definitely get Samsung's new high-end tablet if Affinity were supported.
