  1. You may very well be correct in assuming it could be Norton 360. I really have no idea. What I can say is that I keep Norton very well updated and does not give me any trouble with other software. It is like it is searching to recognize and validate Affinity Photo. Never had this with earlier versions of Affinity.
  2. No, I don't have any of the other apps installed, only PHOTO
  3. Still happening, only for about 20 sec. Thereafter Norton firewall will pass the Setup file (MSI/EXE)
  4. I had a similar problem, Norton 360 was blocking it for a little while. After that it started up without a hitch.
  5. Hi Alex, Just trying on both machines. not able to reproduce this issue. Working as expected. Both machines MSI/EXE
  6. Sorry guys, I'm not able to reproduce this problem. For me the export works as expected. Unfortunately I don't have any suggestion to help you out. A staff member or someone who knows a lot more than I do will probably pick up this ticket. Success, Peter.
  7. Hi Tjeerd, I'm not able to reproduce this issue.
  8. Photo 2.5.7 Win 11 24H2 I'm not able to reproduce this issue. Working fine for me.
  9. I can't agree more! ✅
  10. Not able to reproduce this problem. Windows 11 24H2
  11. @bbrother Followed your example step by step, not able to reproduce this problem. I'm running a PC with less power than yours, standard Ryzen7/16Gb. AP 2.5.2 Redrawing thumbnail, even before deselecting, within 1 sec. Therefore I feel that there's another underlying cause. I'm certainly not a computer specialist so not really able to help you any further. Wish you the best solving the issue anyway. Peter
  12. Same thing here both on 2.5.0 and 2.5.2. By using the Edit menu and "Copy Flattened" it worked as expected. To me this looks like a bug.
Groet, Peter.
  14. I totally agree. I hope that Affinity will undertake a complete overhaul of this RAW module and concentrate on that, instead of introducing new features. Quality is more important than quantity.
  15. Same here Photo 2.4.0.2222 Problem does not occur in 2.3.1
  16. Thanks for your response. I agree with your point. Some others might find it handy to have a work around in the meantime. Peter
  17. A temporary but quick work around would be the Adobe DNG converter. This way your Fuji RAW files can be converted to DNG files which are compatible with Affinity Photo. Success, Peter.
  18. A temporary but quick work around would be the Adobe DNG converter. This way your Sony RAW files can be converted to DNG files which are compatible with Affinity Photo. Success, Peter.
  19. @walt.farrell I'm also not able to replicate this. Not on my desktop (i7) nor on my laptop (R7). Just for your information I'm running windows 11 and MSI/EXE on both machines.
  20. I'm still working with FilmPack 5.0. Even with the latest Affinity Photo Beta 2005, it is working flawlessly. So the problem is, like you said, with DXO and their latest version 6.0.
  21. Hi Scrabo, I don't know what could be wrong on your end. For me, this is working perfectly well. I actually like the old NIK/Google version. Also the new Affinity Beta version 2.1.1.1847 is handling it really well. For what it is worth: I recently moved back to the old MSI installer rather than the newer MSIX. I am certainly not a computer expert. All I can say is that MSI works much better for me, not only on this particular issue. I am certainly not advising folks to do the same. All I can do is to share my own experience. Wish you lots of success. Peter
  22. Same problem here, moved back to MSI installer, problem solved.
