Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 1809.
As I read it the version should be recent enough. That version is really ancient. So much changed since then.

Don't think they will publish a roadmap. Roadmaps gives to much information to other companies.

I see at least one big advantage - As kanji are not cursive the needed changes to the text engine will be much easier than for arabic support.
Till then - しょうがない

I think what they want to say with this is that you get any update until the time a future V3 is released. That is years away at the moment.

and the official announcement that V3 will be released as well😢
Hmm? Where was a v3 announced just now?

Two years would be better to avoid class action lawsuits from users in the EU who bought V1 recently.
On what basis?

But there is as Serif told here in the forum: Do company licensing. There are other mechanics and installation methods available (my guess is a floating license server).

You never own the software, only the right to use it.

Unless they provide a status update soon, it'll be hard not to interpret their silence on this issue as anything other than unnecessarily defensive or punitive.
Well, the wait is probably grounded in the fact that it's the weekend and few people work currently.

What do you mean? c:\program files\WindowsApps is normally scanned by security software. And a Admin can easily look into the folder.

ON1, DXO, ACDSee, and others all have 40-60% Black Friday deals every year (on top of their permanent upgrade discount). And these are all available in Europe.
So what is your point? My point is that is is not something you should count on to get from a European company. Back Friday never reached the madness level here as it has in the US and many companies ignore it completely.

The 40% is a time limited black friday/release/whatereveryoucall deal, and you get no incentive to upgrade after it's over. That's the problem.
I hate to break it to you - Europe doesn't care about Black Friday...

He doesn't understand that we have world wide high inflation and ultra high energy costs. Not only Affinity had to rise prices.

Yes but that has been the risk since the first computer. Not like it would be anything new, so I wonder why people are so surprised by it.

No! If you've already purchased the v1 apps you'll be able to download and install them again. It's just that they are no longer available for new customers to buy.
And to add on this: There is a thing called backup...

Do at own risk - It's tax evasion after all.

Simply drag it to the trash. It’s really that easy

I see. It’s a Windows specific format. That’s why I never heard of it.
That may be the reason why it’s missing, too. As far as I remember the Affinity suite is developed leading on Mac/iOS.

The world doesn't consist out of pro users. There are lots of semi pro and hobby users, too. Not every decision can be made for the few pro users. Would be economical suicide.
