  1. Current Layer is the default setting for these tools. If you change to Current Layer & Below for the Clone Tool, it will also change it for the Healing Brush Tool and vice versa. This is not true for the Inpainting Brush Tool so I need to query what is right here.
  2. Thanks for the info Nopemann and welcome to the forums. I will put some time aside to run this theory through some testing. I will confess to never using iCloud (I tend to use Dropbox when I need to) as I generally work locally or occasionally drag some files from our network.
  3. I understand what you have said. All of this feedback will now be viewed once someone assigns the ticket and looks at the linked threads. For what it's worth, I would also prefer to not have to view my project at 100% or do a merge etc. I was impressed with what I saw in Krita with its live filters and I would hope that one day we could implement something similar
  4. @matt.baker Unfortunately I have no news. I have updated the report to reflect that this was not implemented yet in 2.2.
  5. Hey, sorry, please let me try and explain... Tech and QA (who generally reply to the forums) log bugs against the software with the developers. We do not generally have a method of reporting features other than this forum here which the developers read: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/122-feedback-for-the-affinity-v2-suite-of-products/ We can, and do, log feature improvements for things but this is generally on a smaller scale. As an example, we could log 'The brush size slider increments from 1px to 100px too slow, please accelerate it'. Unrelated to your issue, but an example of what we do log. What we are talking about here is a complete overhaul of the renderer or a new view mode. This is what I assume NotMyFault was requesting with the 'True accurate preview for Photo' feature. I had already linked this thread to an existing issue that is related to mipmaps and viewing the document at 100%. I was unsure whether to tag this thread with that report number as it's not quite the same but its fix would achieve the same result as what you are requesting.
  6. Hey theartofsaul, I have reproduced this and will get it logged with the developers. I will also pass on the other feedback as you have a really valid point! Going forward, could I kindly ask you to try and avoid posting the same issue in different places as it prevents staff from looking into the same issue. Thanks again for the bug report
  7. Yeah it should work for most things. I use it all the time when I reconnect my work laptop to the external monitor and everything goes for a walk
  8. Hey CM0, As previously explained, viewing the document at 100% will give the same results as viewing the exported copy. Left is a PNG and the right is your afphoto file viewed at 100% There is no bug here. It's the way our renderer works with live filters/adjustments/FX. NotMyFault has already logged the request which has not been picked up by the developers.
  9. Hello Luc(as), Sorry for the delay. Could you kindly upload the font to this private Dropbox folder, please? Just give me a nudge when it has uploaded because Dropbox does not notify m
  10. I cannot reproduce this in 2005. What I was doing was constantly dirtying the document by placing a shape > save, place a shape > save. I got to over 300 history entries. As for the rogue window, rather than resetting etc. try this: Click the Window menu Click Section Manager Immediately hold the Windows key on your keyboard Now tap the left/right arrows You should then notice the Section Manager window come into focus from wherever it is hiding. Make sure you don't do anything else before step 3 otherwise it won't have focus.
  11. We have seen a number of crashes over the years with Capture One. Though, saying that, I cannot recall a recent 'known' issue with it. If you do a quick search you will find a few crashes related to it, along with some workarounds. I'd be interested to see the crash report if you have one.
  12. Thanks for trying. Keep an eye on it, as you said and we can look at other avenues if this persists.
  13. The new user account is just a temporary workaround to see if it is a permissions issue or not. If you run into the issue on the new user account then there's something we need to look at further. It's just to help us diagnose what's going on.
  14. Hey Return, Thanks for pointing this out. This will need some consideration from the developers so I've passed the feedback over. I believe this is a WPF issue. I do not think we can disable the input fields whilst we drag the slider. Again, I would probably need to get further developer input on this one. We did observe that on macOS, you just get the repeated stop sound as it's blocking the key input but does allow you to resize.
  15. Hey eduardotanco, The RAM Usage limit originally only tracked raster usage. Over the years, we included more things. However, this is not an absolute limit for everything within the app—other things will get through. We have asked a few times for this to be renamed/made more clear for its actual use.
  16. As I said above your recent reply, have you tried making a new user account? The fact I and probably others can open your files, save them, and send them back to you which you can then open suggests a permissions issue. The Windows issues you have linked to could be an entirely different issue and unrelated to what you're experiencing.
  17. Hi anto, I'm not sure what's going wrong for you other than a potential setting discrepancy with your version of Word. We've tried copy pasting from a few word processors and they're all working without a hitch. TinyTake by MangoApps-06-09-2023-01-26-19.mp4 Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to suggest this time.
  18. Hey JohnPNJ, There still seems to be an issue replacing a PDF with itself - this is still crashing. Replacing one image for another now seems fine.
  19. I've got the recipe now but I do not know what the cause is. This will need a developer to look at the code but I can at least log this to be investigated.
  20. Thanks anto. There was a lot going off in the video so that small bit of context did help and I've reproduced what you are showing. Mine, in fact, moves to the right when I close the resized image so I am trying to establish if this is relative to panel positions. Mine are fixed whereas yours on the right are floating. I can poke this some more.
  21. Hi anto, Unfortunately, I have absolutely no context for this report. There are no links back to what has been previously said so if I was to investigate this, we'd be starting again. Whilst I appreciate all the time you spend reporting issues to us, please try and provide as much information and context as possible. For example, if you can provide a bug report in the following format: 1. Do this 2. Do that 3. Click here 4. Click that Expected result Actual result This will allow Tech/QA and other forum members to understand what you are trying to communicate.
