Also why not allow to set our own installation path. As a power user I try to keep my Windows drive clean, Windows tends to add garbage to it over the time.
Also where does Affinity 2 put the Add-Ons like bruhses? I guess in AppData too?

this is the only way i can think of, you will have to adjust the nodes on every rectangle.

I just wanted to thank you for developing such a great software. Using it on and off and today I figured out that Affinity Designer even provides a Spine exporter! Really Awesome, that will help me save even more time! Keep up the great work! I get more and more used to the software and still find amazing features :D

Just a small feedback for the Spine exporter. It would be cool to place the root node somehow (maybe naming a slice "spine_root" will act as the offset provider for the JSON generator?!). :)

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Make sure you are working with a (Pixel) layer type. If the layer is identified as an (Image) layer type between parenthesis after the layer's name in the Layers panel, right-click on it and select Rasterise... to convert it to a (Pixel) layer. You can then copy/paste selections from it. Image layers retain all image properties but you can only transform them globally, that is, change their scale, rotate, skew etc. You cannot change their pixel data. Converting them to Pixel layers allows you to edit their pixel data - note this will rasterise the layer using the dpi you have set for the document.
 
You can set shortcuts for the selection tools going to menu Edit ▸ Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts section, set the dropdown(s) to Photo and Tools and change the shortcuts from the list below. Currently you cannot change the shortcuts for selection's operations (add, subtract, intersect etc).
 
If you have more than one layer selected, Copy copies all layers as independent layers to the clipboard. Copy Flattened copies the layers as a single flattened pixel layer to the clipboard.

We are aware of the crash when passing a document between apps. This should be fixed in build 38 of Photo but will also require an updated version of Designer when we release it :)

how do I copy and paste a selection made with the marquee tool?! I am trying to duplicate some parts of an image and also try to copy a part and paste it as a new image (ctrl+alt+shift+n)

Is it possible to switch the shortcuts for the Marquee tool?! I couldn't find it in the settings. Subtracting selection with Right+Left Mouse seems to be rather weird to me, especially since I have to make sure I release the left mouse button first, otherwise a new selection will be created. I would like to exchange it with DRAG+Ctrl since moving the layer is something I never did  :huh:

Okay, just found out about "Copy flattened" ... what is the difference to Copy?!

A tool that distorts groups of objects would be extremely useful - the most obvious use would be to distort  groups such as squares laid out in a checkerboard or tiled floor design add perspective. Ideally with no restrictions on the directions of distortion - similar to Free Distort.
For me this feature is actually essential rather than just useful.

I just would like to add, that I set AP/AD to English and some texts are still german, e.g. under the Swatches Tab, it reads "Grautöne".
