  1. opening a file in designer and closing, worked immediately. Thanks for the tip...
  2. have the same problem. the crash report included. I will try to reinstall the app, and report back. foutrapport-photo.rtf
  3. Iwish that AP had the function to create those tiny planets amongst their 360 phototools. Just look on instagram for 'tinyplanet' in a search. You'll see how many use that.
  4. Here's the link to a step by step I took, when making My latest Holy Planet. A combination of a tiny planet ,and an inverted planet. I hope you like it. Bear with me, this is my first tutorial.... CLICK HERE FOR THE LINK TO IT (dropbox)

    Background

maybe try exporting to a .PNG -file. That supports transparency. JPG does not
  7. Hello, I tried to install Noiseless as a plugin for AP. The program itself can install as a plugin for photoshop related apps. I could get Affinity to recognise the plugin, but all I get is a popup that tells me the plugin started, after that I have to force exit Affinity Photo. Any ideas, or anyone had more luck (or insight) than me ?
  8. I noticed, I had contact with them.Posted my chat on the questions part of this site link here below.... https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/53462-tried-to-install-macphun-noiseless-plugin/
  9. I got response of the MacPhun team this morning, when I chatted with them ...I really hope this can be addressed very soon. Would love to see that !
  10. I tried in MacPhun's "Noiseless" app, it can install as a plugin for Photoshop app, but I have not been able to get it to work in AP-Yet-. I asked the MacPhun team for advise. awaiting answer at this point... It works great, but I woud need to sharpen it a bit afterwards. I left the preview slider in the screenshot to show the difference.(edit: I used the most extreme settings possible)
  11. ouch ! It seems my iPad is no longer supporting the app... I followed your advise for a refund of my money on the app store....
  12. Congratulations, just bought the app. Shared on Twitter and on Facebook, hoping to win the contest. Lol,no,of course to help you guys!
  13. Don't do that. This is still the unbeatable king of graphic software. There will be other occasions in the future. Would be regretted when the time comes
  14. I could see the links, but due to family reasons (sad ones) I could not bring myself early enough to claim them.Is there a chance to get them after all ? I have the App store version.

Very well rendered. Wow ! impressive. AD and AP would make a great team too, if you decided to have a go with it.

My first AD illustration - classic ELO logo

Hey that's cool ! great work ! (I'm an ELO fan too)
  18. I could easily reproduce this in Affinity Photo., all I did was make a circular selection on the lines, make a copy and paste it in a new layer. After that I selected adjustment (on the right in picture) and chose recolor. I hope this can help. In designer I'm not really sure how to do it quickly.... I'll follow this topic, and learn with you..
  19. I guess you'll need an app that converts the jpg in a vector file. For now it is not, as far as I found out,yet in Afintiy Designer. Here is a tutorial that explains stuff , but done with Inkscape. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/convert-images-to-svg-format-with-inkscape/

  22. I'm trying to make a painting brush, to create a painting in AD. It looks as if I'm going in the right direction. I'll make another to do more detailed work, we'll see what we need later on For the moment I'm only doing b&w paintings, I will dive in later to make them mix colors. This is actually fun to do !
