Yes, you can save it as .afphoto or afdesign file and reuse it in all documents that support this format (Photo, Designer, [Publisher in near future], maybe Adobe products [in the future] :) ), or you can save it as PNG, JPG, TIF, EPS... to reuse it with other applications.

Thanks guys. I cleared the problem with Chris_K. There is no need of additional post. Thanks again. -

New Photo instalation file
Petar Petrenko replied to Petar Petrenko's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on Windows threads
Yes, exactly that. I put them in the same directory and Designer always asks me if I want to replace the exsting file, but Photo does not -- for last two versions. It simply start downloading. -
Why Photo doesn't ask to replace the existing instalation file, but creates a new one with suffix (1)? If your intention is to keep all previous instalation files just in case, then it would be better to append the version number to each file and not only to betas.

Hi, 1. Can a symetrical node be added? 2. What is the difference between "smooth" and "smart" type of node? 3. Can the icon of the selected node type be on black background just to know when some node is selected or not?

This can be said for any application, not only for those all-in-one. Software owners / developers just search for excuses not to make all-in-one apps. There are problems in every software development. There are missing features, also. All problems start from the very beggining of the project. Lack of good ideas, concept, strategies... to mention just a few reasons for bad apps. It doesn't matter if they are all-in-one or not. When I need to write any software, I spend 90% of the time in thinking and the other 10% in writting it. After that, normally, testing is needed.

Maybe its time to count how many photographers, designers, DTP artists... are between Affinity users. If most of them are photographers -- then fine. Everything is OK. But if there are more designers, then merging Photo and Designer into one app is must. Designers are not interested in vector or bitmap tools as such. They use everthing they have to make art -- sometimes with vector tools, sometimes with bitmap tools. So, it is ridiculous to switch the applications every second.

Affinity Publisher Feature Request
Petar Petrenko replied to lilmisslondon's topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion Posts
Yes, I absolutelly agree with this. But... they make the software for us, not (only) for them. That is why they started and that is why they sell it. And, as I said earlier, they are great programmers, but it not makes them great DTP, design... experts. They must have expert in the areas they work to consult him/her. Otherwise, everything will be mess. -
Why not to have "Colors", "Swatches" and "Fill" into one panel with immediate access to everything about colors?

+1 Don't worry Retrograde. The A-Team will find a way to do it. :) -
Affinity Publisher Feature Request
Petar Petrenko replied to lilmisslondon's topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion Posts
Sorry Dave, please don't get me wrong, but it is not up to you (Affinity team) something to like or not, because at the end IMO you don't make the applications for your own use. If most users do not agree with your approach -- you lose. We are going to work with the apps we used to. -
[ADe] Select and Delete a Line Segment.
Petar Petrenko replied to Duncan_Biscuit's topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion Posts
One click on a line segment now creates a node. So, IMO it is better one click to select the line segment and delete it with <DELETE> key. Double click to create a node (double click on an existing node to delete it. It is much faster instead of using <DELTE> key). -
I don't agree they are "the next big thing" at all: 1. You can't change their color; 2. You depend on the resolution of the raster fonts.

Do we really need two pointer tools?
Petar Petrenko replied to ket's topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion Posts
If double clicking on the "Move Tool" enters you in "Node Editing Mode", then why do we really need that "Node Tool" icon, at all? Just for show?- 21 replies
