  1. I've uploaded the file for you @stokerg If you need any of the linked assets, let me know.
  2. I've noticed that APu 2.2.1 tends to hang after updating modified images with the Resource manager. I can save the file (though it doesn't actually save the changes) and close the file. But after reopening I am prompted to recover the files. When I do that, the updates are no longer there. If instead of update I use the Replace option (I have to save, close and reopen each time), the file saves OK although a recovery option is still presented (I ignore it). I believe something is broken in the Resource manager.
  3. As a Wordpress user I use ADe and APh all the time to create and manage assets. A 2023 version of Dreamweaver is going to be a very minority sport with limited appeal in a CMS environment.
  4. If you don’t want to use the paragraph window, you could open a text ruler and drag the first marker as explained at https://affinity.help/publisher/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Text/indents.html?title=Indents
  5. When I read posts like these it’s a reminder to myself why I invariably paste as unformatted/plain text.
  6. When I need multiple bullet levels, I create a bullet style for each level . In your example the level would be 2 not 1.
  7. The white cursor problem or the cursor going invisible in Windows can be fixed by selecting the “beam_r” cursor from the Mouse settings on Windows.
  8. I’d create a style for each bullet level in Publisher and apply it to the imported document. I don’t think Affinity is going to be able to replicate the bullets from MS Word.
  9. I get occasional display issues with linked files only being partially displayed (top left and quarter) but these export to PDF just fine.
  10. Thank you for confirming that this hasn’t been completely forgotten Callum.
  11. I am disappointed to see that the longstanding "Default to All Spreads" when exporting as PDF bug still hasn't been fixed in this version. Reminder... From APu, Export > Select PDF > Change Area: to something other than "All Spreads" On subsequent exports, regardless of the last state or preset saved, the File Settings Area: returns "All Spreads"
  12. See https://affinity.help/publisher/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Media/pictureFrames.html?title=Picture frames Perhaps you have the option set to stretch/distort the image?
  13. Yes if it’s a vector format. If it’s bitmap format and simple as in the image above you can draw it with the pen tool or by using a image tracing tool. If you are going to fill it with black, I’m not sure why you would want to change the line thickness though.
  14. Whilst it might take more time to have to look through a long list, having more fonts won’t actually slow down your computer. As a designer, I am often called upon to have a range of different fonts from different companies so again, I disagree with the above comment.
  15. Years ago I had an app on my pc that inspected my fonts and rated them so that I could weed out those that has “issues”. Sadly I forgot what it was called.
  16. This is how I preserve italic and bold on imported text. Other posts on this thread may be of help too.
  17. It’s something I ignore. The end result is printed as expected regardless of which printing company I use.
  18. From the link posted above… “The blackest black you can get when printing in CMYK is C-75 M-68 Y-67 K-90. Yes, you can accomplish this by…” Highlighting the mono image and pressing the K button .
  19. Would this work? Import data set 1 into APu doc1 Import data set 2 into APu doc2 Create APu master document and place APu doc1 and APu doc2 into relevant pages.
  20. I find it much quicker when producing booklets to export as pdf and use the print as booklet option in the pdf reader.
  21. Thanks and if I find out the cause of the issue from the manufacturer (I’ve opened a call) of my NAS, I’ll post here.
  22. @Dan C I've been investigating this issue and it is related to my NAS syncing. I run a sync job that duplicates my files to a NAS. Affinity (native and associated) files that have been copied to the NAS preview correctly but the original files do not. If I pause syncing... Open the original file and save it with a different name it displays correctly. If I open the file, change it and save it with the original filename it does not display. I need to find out why the process of copying the files breaks the source (local) but not the destination (network) preview handling. From the perspective of this forum its not a Serif issue however so apologies for leading you down the garden path.
