  1. Hi There – I am trying to create an automatically numbered list of exercises from my book. However, the list of exercises Gets messed up if my exercise itself has any numbered list within it. You can see the behavior here: https://www.loom.com/share/940d778abb154226b6c1f82fd497f370 If anybody has any ideas for how to make this work, it would be most appreciated! Thank you so much. πŸ™‚ And… I am almost finished with my book! 8x10 Final PRESS 110323.afpub
  2. Thank you so much. You're a lifesaver. This was driving me crazy – and such an easy fix. Thank you so much!
  3. Hi there, friends! I am finally getting ready to put together my table of contents. However the font that occurs when I do so is very unusual and bizarre. You can take a look at what happens here: https://www.loom.com/share/b724c17494e54e04a2712332587538ea I've tried to change the font to something more normal – but it seems to be intractable to font changes. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much. 8x10 Final PRESS 110323.afpub
  4. @thomaso Thanks so much. I'll give that a try! Edit: Works like a charm!!!!! Thanks so much!
  5. I can't seem to make the curve thicker at the top. It seems to work with new line objects, but not a curve I've already created. Is there a way to select a curve and then make it thicker? Thanks for your thoughts! https://www.loom.com/share/215dea59ebe0456d946842c4637e4774 8x10 Final PRESS 103123.afpub
  6. I am applying Master to a lot of my pages – because I am inserting block quotes in the margins. https://www.loom.com/share/87e8d1d73fde4aada282b27bf4e28e15 Is there a shortcut way to do this? Right now I am doing everything, one page at a time, it feels quite tedious. It's a a different location on different pages -- so there's a different master based on whether or not it is upper left, lower left, upper right or lower right – so I can't just apply one master to every page. Anyhow… Thank you for your thoughts! And – in a slightly separate topic is there any way to get Affinity to stop crashing? ? It seems to do so with regular frequency. I caught it in the act in this video: https://www.loom.com/share/e6013b03150d4cf1a4389e64e56e0861?sid=525bbed3-3cd6-4b98-a600-84504d0ee8d9 8x10 Final PRESS 103123.afpub
  7. Interesting! I may have created it in Microsoft Word and then imported it. Let me see. Actually, come to think of itt, I did. Maybe that is the issue? Indeed! Eureka. If you import the table, it makes it so that vertical height adjustments are very wonky. But if you do it jusst straight from Affinity, it wworks as planned/expected. Thannk yyou so mmuch. @anto
  8. Thank you for your helpp! It is very much appreciated. I'm happy to use the fractional workaround – and/or the text drag.
  9. The problem is still here, @carl123. Here's the video and the file, but thank you, @thomaso! That is a great workaround! https://www.loom.com/share/a0b91eb509da437c8580b638581126d8 8x10 Final PRESS 102123.afpub
  10. Hello! And thank you so much for checking out the video and the file. I very much appreciated! πŸ™‚ (Sorry if I was in a bad mood in the video.) The version that I have is this one: Affinity Publisher 1.10.6.1665 Thank you so much!
  11. I am trying to create a change in my table by modifying the height of a row of cells. However when I do so, in the vertical position, it creates a bizarre jump in the cell height, rather than an incremental one. You may see the attached video for reference. https://www.loom.com/share/89376e6b55ae40f38278ec11836650e9 Any thoughts would be welcome. 8x10 Final PRESS 102123.afpub
