@walt.farrell Where would I find this setting? And can it be undone if it's not what I want? I take it this is a windows setting not an Affinity setting?

The free down load I got seems limited to Pie and bar charts. Here is a hollow pie chart. Make sure the A at the end of your numbers is coloured white. Don't forget to create assets out your charts for mock ups and templates. Hollow Pie.afpub

On my lap top I cant change the studio settings with the number pad on the left. Yes the number pad is on and all the page zoom short cuts work fine. The number keys that run across the top of my keyboard work fine, studio changes no problem. It's just the number pad on the right of the key board that's not working. Not sure if this is a bug (don't think so) or it's my key board. Anyone else having similar problems or have any suggestions.

Got it working using the glyph browser. It doesn't work with every character though. What I did was to place the small square dot from the Glyph Browser in a text box then cut it and replace the round dot in the style with the square one. Where I have been going wrong is using the wrong size square dot. The larger ones come out as just an outline shape the smaller one comes out as the square dot.

I created a menu with square dots for the tabs. This was a while back and for the life of me I can't figure out how to recreate it. Can you guy's tell how to do it. It would be most appreciated Thanks Dai Square Tabs.afpub

@anto shall give it a try and see how it goes. Cheers for the input. Got it working not sure if it's unique names and explicit locations in pages in Data Merge which is working, I suspect both. Plus the master Page had to be detached as it didn't reproduce properly after Data Merge.

So the limitation is label names. from different sources makes a clash in the program rendering it useless for things that have repetitive data labels such as a catalogue. To achieve it only a single sheet from an xslx can be used. I can't see how you can have unique names for things like Item, price,reference, By the time you get to the third or fourth sheet Labels would start being totally unrecognizable. Defeating the object of having well organised Data. I do hope Affinity are going to improve the Data Merge in the future. It makes more sense to do what I want to do in the way I want to do it than have a spaghetti Data source just to get the thing to work for certain applications. Rant over. Thanks for the help lads it's been very helpful.
