big smile
This is probably a dumb question, but I have searched around, read tutorials and not found an answer. This is my artwork: I just want to duplicate the left eyeball. As shown above, I have selected it with the white arrow tool and the eye ball as even turned blue. But how do I make a copy of it? If I do copy and paste, it just duplicates the entire object. I only want to copy the eye. I have tried switching to pixel persona and using the marquee but that's no help. telemax

It seems a bit inefficient. If so, not to worry.

Pšenda
3 hours ago, big smile said: Is that the only way? This is because you have all the objects/curves in one layer. In your case, it is better to put each curve on a separate layer (off "Add new curve to selected curves object" in Context toolbar), which is easier to manipulate. big smile 1 Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.4.0.2301 Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2, Build 22631.3155. R C-R
Adding slightly to what's already been said, if you look carefully at your artwork you can see that it consists of 7 different curves contained in one "(Curves)" layer -- note the plural form. You can see this on the artwork itself by selecting it with the Node tool & counting the number of red end nodes: So as suggested, you will need to duplicate that "(Curves)" layer, divide it into its 7 individual nodes & delete all of them except the one(s) you want as separate "(Curve)" layers. big smile 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
