Hi,

Manual rotation of the object (with handle) does not recognize choosen rotation reference point in Transform panel. It always rotate it from center.

There have been many threads about this. If you want to rotate the object around one of the corner or edge handles, you need to move the rotation point to the chosen handle: it should snap to the exact position if your snapping settings are correct.

I tried to figure out for a whole afternoon in Affinity Designer how to move the rotation point to the right handle in an oval, consulted the Help guide, watched tutorials, tried to follow the instructions, but still it didn't work! I got very frustrated in the end! Please help me. How can I move the handle from the top to the right? How should I set the snappings?

Yes, I tried that, but in the tutorial-example the rotation-handle was on the right, and I did not see it appearing so when I did the "enable transform Origin" . So, how did they do that, moving the rotation-handle? That's what's puzzling me.

Yes, I tried it now, it worked, thanks. But why this confusion?
