firstdefence
You could use multiple shapes with strokes and increasing dimensions to create multi-line borders and just group them. lgoodwin
If I follow correctly, create multiple rextangles, and add one text frame? Then group all three?
thomaso
Yes, correct. – Whereas grouping them is optional. In case you have AfDesigner installed you can switch the persona, apply multiple strokes to only 1 frame object and jump back to AfPublisher to keep on working as usual. R C-R
You can also apply a stroke to the text frame itself in Publisher via the Text Frame Studio panel, or in Publisher or Designer (persona or app) using the increasingly deceptively named Fill Tool. From the help topic: Quote • Text or Frame — assigns the fill to either the frame Text or the Frame itself. For text frames only. Unfortunately, currently the Appearance panel will not allow the addition of a second stroke (or fill) to a text frame (or to text), but if that limitation is removed in a future update, it won't be necessary to add an extra rectangle to get the multi-line border effect.
