The newest update of AD isn't working with my old Mac 2015, I can't even open it anymore. For what I use it for it's not worth upgrading my graphics card. I really just need to export the files.

I need to find an older version for Mac, ideally v 1.6.5. Anyone know where I could find one? I can only find Windows versions on here.

Thanks in advance!

Can you probably provide more detail on your Mac specs? I ask because all 3 apps are running just fine on my 2011 iMac (no Metal available of course.

If you’re using the Mac App Store version of AD, I’m afraid you’re out of luck. If you’re using the Affinity Store version of the app, go here:

Which Mac model do you have? You mentioned not upgrading the GPU, but that implies a Mac with an upgradable one, & I think that rules out everything except Mac Pros (last version from 2013) & maybe one of the older Mac Minis with a screw off bottom. Any of the 2015 iMacs should run the 1.7.x versions without issues -- even my old 2012 iMac does that.

Hi AndreLondon2019,

Welcome to the forums :)

Could you also please confirm which Mac OS version you have installed and where the app was purchased from? (ie the Mac App Store, the Affinity Store?)
