How to create table headers and row styles

Hi! I need to create tables with the header in one color, and a white row followed by a blue row. How can I create a Style to reuse this format of table? And how do I define a header?

You can Add format from selection at the Table Formats Panel.

Tables with headers/repeated patterns/footers for both columns and rows are very easy to make once you understand how table formats work. You can also specify a different text style to each cell Formats.

Man - Thanks toutou123 - Thats what iam looking for! I thought this basic feature was not availible.

Now it woud be great, if i coud add tables directly into Text-frames. It is very annoying to manually drag and drop the Tables everytime i change some Text.

Tables can be "Pinned" into text frames so the text wraps around them as you change it

What a great community here. Thanks a lot carl.

It is a bit strange to work many years with InDesign and swith to something else. Everytime i think, why does this and that do not work, but Affinity works a bit different. I must say - Everytime i found out how something works, i think it is a lot more thought trough and better than in InDesign. Great Tool!
