THIS is the update i´ve been waiting for. It is absolutly stunning. from a heavy stutter mess to fluid scrolling through my document. Even better as in InDesign before my change to Affinty. Thank you! Now i am not regret my change anymore and can work much more efficient and without inner hate against the stutters^^ Love you!

Hey, i have some Problem with Affinity Publisher. My Masterpage (left and right) have the same position and size of their textbox etc. But if i delete or add only one page, all following pages messes up. Sure the Artworks will not fit, but the text goes behind the background? Why is that so? Is there some setting for it. Hope my description is understandable.

I seem to be a bit dumb, but how can i add a table into a text frame. so it flows with my Text. Can i create a table directly into the text frame? Connect them with Command + G is not working very well and the table is over the text.

I do not know what Metal means. I do not have such an Option. A can choose Warp or my GPU. I dont know what Warp means. The Retina rendering is set on low quality. and is it better to enable or disable dither gradients? I tried a bit, but as i do not have any gradients it makes no difference right now. Sorry for the Screenshots in German, but i think you can see the settings.

damn - genius What a great community here. Thanks a lot carl. It is a bit strange to work many years with InDesign and swith to something else. Everytime i think, why does this and that do not work, but Affinity works a bit different. I must say - Everytime i found out how something works, i think it is a lot more thought trough and better than in InDesign. Great Tool!

Man - Thanks toutou123 - Thats what iam looking for! I thought this basic feature was not availible. Now it woud be great, if i coud add tables directly into Text-frames. It is very annoying to manually drag and drop the Tables everytime i change some Text.

Yes i did. Visually it makes no difference, so no change in performance either So the performance per se is ok, but as soon as i want do drag and drop something, it is impossible to move it around. Unfortunally i do not have a way. The PDF Conversion is ok, but gave me a lot of problems, so i decided to copy it page per page manually. I think it will took some weeks^^

So since the Publisher is finally out, i took the courage to convert my 400 Page book from Indesign to Publisher. Since it have may Graphics it is a mess to move things around. I looked everywhere but i coud not find a Performance Mode, wich lowers the resolution of the Graphics for a better workflow. This Option is stanard in Indesign and i really miss it. I work on I7 8700k, GTX 2800 and 32 GB Ram, so this shoud not be a problem. Does someone know how to run this smoother? It is impossible to work with it right now. Did not find any Tutorial about this.

Hey i just bought Affinity Photo, because i want to make the jump from Photoshop. I work alot with brushes, wich are like stamps. So i need a preview of the form and not of the stroke. Unfortunally i did not find any way to make the preview bigger. Does anyone have an idea how to do it? It is essential for my workflow :D
