Petar Petrenko Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 Hi, this is a problem with previous versions, too. If I create RTF with Word, Publisher does not import it. Staff Patrick Connor Posted March 28, 2019 Staff Posted March 28, 2019 Thanks for your report. Two members of staff are looking at this. Staff Jon P Posted April 2, 2019 Staff Posted April 2, 2019 Hi, As Patrick has stated the file does eventually import, but not correctly. Our parser seems to be struggling with the makeup of the RTF file exported from Word. I've logged this for the developers to look into further. Thanks! Staff Patrick Connor Posted May 31, 2019 Staff Posted May 31, 2019 We believe this has been addressed in the latest (#371) beta build. Please retest this behaviour. I can confirm that the Word.rtf file from the first post in this thread now imports into APub. At a first glance it looks similar to the TextMaker.rtf. BTW, great new splashscreen. Looks promising d. This certainly is strange because, here, the Word.rtf behaves the same as the TextMaker.rtf. Just to make sure: can you by any chance reboot your computer and perhaps even CTRL startup APub. Perhaps some of the new code is somehow kept from running (this is just a amateurish guess on my side. But I had success that way with a newly added feature some time ago). Cheers, d. Petar Petrenko Posted May 31, 2019 Author Posted May 31, 2019 Now, I am not concerned too much about RTF import, after they added DOC(X) import.
